Ballyburren is an outdoor activity centre located north of Burren Lough, near Ballynahinch, County Down, Northern Ireland. Set on an 18-acre estate, Ballyburren offers a range of unique and memorable experiences in a scenic environment featuring woodland, wetlands, and picturesque ponds. The centre has won the Best Tourism Business Award 2025 (LCCC) and boasts Ireland’s only purpose-built scenic alpaca trekking trail with a coffee trailer situated on a small island accessible via a 1.4km stoned pathway. Facilities include a Japanese garden, forest school, bushcraft area, car park with amenities (including toilets for visitors with babies and reduced mobility), and luxury A-frame lodges for adults. Ballyburren welcomes individuals, families, corporate groups, and school trips for a variety of relaxing and engaging outdoor experiences.
