About this program
Calder Valley Woodland School is a year-round programme located near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, designed specifically for home educated and flexi-schooled young people. Sessions are held every Tuesday during the school term from 9.30am to 3pm at Knott Wood, offering a cosy base-camp with a firepit, seating, compost toilet, and a covered geodome with a wood-burning stove. The school aims to nurture nature skills and foster a sense of belonging, providing a unique opportunity for children to connect with the outdoors and themselves.
