About this program

Cocoplum Nature School in Delray Beach is an educational setting founded in 2020 by two local mothers and educators, Dr. Fernanda Wolfson and Dr. Melanie Stefanovic. Inspired by a passion for environmental stewardship and child-focused learning, the school is grounded in the belief that everything traditionally taught within four walls can be experienced through play, exploration, and inquiry in the natural world. With a mission to nurture liberated learners for a healthier planet, Cocoplum is committed to cultivating curiosity, creativity, and collaboration among its students. Nature is not just a backdrop but an integral part of Cocoplum’s curriculum. The school holds high professional standards: all faculty hold at least a bachelor’s degree and three or more years of educational experience, and each staff member has passed Level II background checks. Cocoplum embraces diversity, strives for inclusivity, and partners with families for individualized and experiential learning.
