Dunes Learning Center, the official outdoor school of Indiana Dunes National Park, has inspired curiosity and a love for nature in over 175,000 students since 1998. This nonprofit educational institution offers year-round, hands-on outdoor learning adventures that foster environmental stewardship and connect science with real-world experiences. With a mission to inspire lasting curiosity and stewardship, DLC includes memorable overnight programs at their Indiana Dunes National Park campus and robust outreach offerings across Northwest Indiana, Chicago, and beyond. Through strong scholarship support, DLC aims to break down financial barriers and encourage all children to explore, reflect, and become the environmental stewards of tomorrow. The center is accredited by the American Camp Association, ensuring a commitment to health, safety, and quality programming for all participants.
