Inwoods Small School is an independent day school for primary-aged children, situated on a beautiful property surrounded by woodland in Hampshire, UK. The school is part of the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust and is located on the Brockwood Park estate, sharing the grounds with Brockwood Park School and the Krishnamurti Centre. The school aims to provide an education that concerns the development of the whole child. Learning is individualized and encourages children to be sensitive and willing to question the world around them. Much of the day is spent immersed in project work, happening outside in nature and grounding learning in real-life, tangible experiences. Inwoods creates an atmosphere where each child is given space to learn in a creative, safe, and harmonious environment, free from competition and comparison. There is an emphasis on creating a calm and joyful school where children experience freedom while being asked to take responsibility for their own actions.
