Kamaja Outdoors

About this program

Kamaja Outdoors is an education institution in Malta, dedicated to getting children and adolescents outdoors where learning happens naturally through adventure education. Founded by Kayleigh Mizzi, Martin Borg, and Janice, Kamaja started as a family initiative and has since expanded to offer structured programmes, including Adventure Summer, Adventure Camps, and private adventure events. The team is composed of experienced educators, including a warranted early childhood teacher, a youth and community studies specialist, and professionals skilled in outdoor, first aid, and rescue training. Kamaja Outdoors is licensed as a Further Education Institution and is recognized by both the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) and the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE).
