About this program
Mud Club is an Ofsted-registered Forest School and Out of School Club based in South London, with sites in Catford and Bromley. The organization was created to give children extended periods of time outdoors, exploring nature in a supportive and nurturing environment. The ethos centers on consent-based, playful, hands-on learning. All activities encourage children to explore and discover at their own pace, with staff eager to hear children's opinions and facilitate their ideas. Being in nature allows children to witness the cycle of seasons and see how the environment changes week by week. Mud Club hosts events for children, families, and adults, creating a community hub for nature-based activities in the London area. The organization emphasizes building relationships, problem solving, critical thinking, resilience, and risk assessment through outdoor experiences.
