About this program

Pelangi School is a private, not-for-profit international school founded in 2006 by parents seeking an alternative educational experience for their children in Ubud, Bali. What started with just a handful of students has grown into a vibrant community of approximately 200 students representing nearly 30 different nationalities. The school's mission is to provide high-quality, holistic education delivered in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. Pelangi's approach values balance—developing creativity, happiness, wellbeing, positive relationships, and an enquiring mind is considered as important as achieving international academic standards. Students are supported by a nurturing, family-like environment where they can explore, take risks, try new things, and grow confidently into their own unique characters. The motto "Where children love to learn" captures the school's philosophy of making education engaging and joyful.
