About this program
The Field School of Hvar offers "family life as it should be" on a stunning Mediterranean island in Croatia. Located between the Adriatic Sea and the Dinaric Alps, the program provides a safe, vibrant community where families can rediscover wonder alongside their children. The school takes a place-based learning approach where the island itself becomes the classroom. Children develop confidence and character through hands-on projects and acts of service in nature. The environment is intentionally screen-free and peer-led, allowing for deep engagement with learning and community. Beyond the children's program, Field School creates a complete slow travel experience with village-style accommodations, coworking space for parents, welcome dinners, workshops, and family outings.
