The Traveling School is a place-based high school semester program that amplifies student voices through transformative education to ignite positive change. Based in Bozeman, Montana, this nonprofit organization offers one-of-a-kind experiences where adventure, learning, and personal growth come together in unforgettable ways. The program's mission centers on empowering students to become next-generation leaders and changemakers. Living out of backpacks and duffels, students engage with communities firsthand, learning about the real-life impacts of global issues such as climate change, indigeneity, race, power, and privilege. Note: The Traveling School is currently exploring new possibilities for its next chapter and is not accepting applications at this time.
