About this program
Valencia Forest School is a British-inspired, Scandinavian-influenced environmental education project located in Valencia, Spain. The school combines outdoor learning with the respected UK Forest School methodology, focusing on self-directed learning and personal and emotional development through play, creativity, and multi-sensory experiences in nature. As the first in Spain to provide official British training for Forest School Leaders (Level 3 Certificate), Valencia Forest School brings authentic forest education methodology to the Mediterranean. The approach emphasizes experiential learning where children develop critical thinking skills through hands-on exploration in natural settings. The school is bilingual (English/Spanish), making it an ideal option for international and worldschooling families seeking quality outdoor education while maintaining English language development.
