About this program
Wilderness Forest School offers a distinctive, nature-immersed learning experience for home-educated children. Based in beautiful woodland settings, the sessions are led by a Level 3 certified Forest School Leader. The school’s philosophy centers around using nature as a classroom, encouraging children to explore, build dens, light fires, and engage in activities that foster personal growth, self-confidence, and a love of the natural world. The Wilderness Foundation UK, which operates the Forest School, is committed to transforming lives through nature-based programmes, environmental education, and wilderness therapy. Their mission is to help young people and adults gain wellbeing, resilience, and practical skills while cultivating an enduring relationship with wild spaces.
