Bowman School is an authentic Montessori institution in Palo Alto, California, serving students from 12 weeks through 12th grade. Founded in 1995, the school has grown to operate four campuses across Palo Alto, making it one of the most comprehensive Montessori programs in the Bay Area. The school emphasizes developing globally-aware lifelong learners through hands-on academics, self-directed learning, and critical thinking skills. With over 30 nationalities represented in the student body, Bowman maintains a truly international community where students foster meaningful relationships and develop practical life tools. Bowman has been recognized with multiple Gold Medal awards from Bay Area Parent Magazine in 2025, including Best Private High School, Best Private Middle School, Best Private Elementary, Best Preschool, and Best Montessori School.
