Khan Lab School is an innovative independent school in Silicon Valley founded by Sal Khan, creator of Khan Academy. Established in 2014, the school serves as a laboratory for testing and refining mastery-based educational approaches outlined in Khan's book "The One World Schoolhouse." The school operates two campuses—Lower School (TK-5) in Palo Alto and Middle/Upper School (6-12) in Mountain View—serving over 300 students. WASC accredited and a member of NAIS, Khan Lab School combines rigorous academics with a personalized, learner-centered approach that empowers students to take ownership of their educational journey.
