About this program
The Chicago Botanic Garden's youth programs are designed for children and families to explore, learn, and connect with nature in engaging and educational ways. Programs are available for ages 2 to 18, and focus on investigative science, gardening, and career exploration. Through hands-on experiences and outdoor activities, children can develop a lifelong appreciation for the natural world while spending meaningful time with adults. Offerings include seasonal camps, a nature-based preschool, and a variety of classes that encourage discovery and curiosity. Each program emphasizes the connections between plants, science, art, history, and culture. Families are encouraged to contact the Garden directly for more information about schedules and registration.
