About this program
Children Lead The Way is a charitable community forest school run by two lifelong friends and a friendly, experienced team. Located at Tredington House Farm (GL20 7BU), this setting offers a beautiful, safe, enclosed outdoor environment on a working dairy farm with free onsite parking. The forest school operates during spring to autumn and was established in June 2024, transforming wild forest into purposeful play spaces. The group welcomes home educated, flexi-schooled, and neurodiverse children, emphasising child-led play and self-directed learning in a magical natural setting. The project is fully volunteer-managed, combining backgrounds in raising and teaching children, including those with additional needs, as well as therapeutic forestry and outdoor learning. Families are encouraged to email with any questions about accessibility or other specific needs as the team works towards being more inclusive in the future.
