About this program
Forest School Learning Initiative (FSLI) is based in the Cotswolds and offers accredited Forest School Leader Training and development, serving the UK and international communities. Since 2006, FSLI has focused on sharing hands-on, woodland-based learning experiences that help children and young people gain confidence, self-esteem, and achievement. FSLI is unique in that all trainers not only teach adults but also run weekly Forest School sessions for children of all ages and abilities, keeping their approach grounded and up-to-date. FSLI was founded by Christina Dee, who brought experience from working both with children and students up to age 19, including those with learning difficulties. With a 95% course completion rate and positive feedback from over 3000 trained Forest School Leaders, FSLI is known for its supportive, educational approach rooted in Forest School Association principles and ecological awareness.
