About this program
Conkers Life offers a range of outdoor groups and activities for children and their families, all set on a beautiful fifty-acre rural site at The Hagg, bordered by the river Derwent in the North East of England. Founded by Christina Quigley, who has over 18 years' experience in primary education and is a qualified Forest School Leader, Conkers Life aims to link education with nature and the land. Since 2018, Conkers Life has provided forest school groups, outdoor parent and child groups, and childcare through its outdoor kindergarten. The project is rooted in Christina’s vision of creating a wholesome, nature-immersed approach to learning and community for both children and their parents.
