About this program
Great Basin Outdoor School is a Nevada-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing hands-on outdoor education experiences since 1998. Operating exclusively in Nevada's Reno-Tahoe region, the school immerses students in nature through multi-day overnight science camps and day field studies in spectacular natural settings, including the shores of Lake Tahoe and other local sites.
