Nevada Outdoor School (NOS) is a community-focused outdoor education organization operating across rural Northern Nevada, with offices in Winnemucca and Elko. The organization's mission centers on inspiring exploration of the natural world, responsible stewardship of Nevada's habitat, and dedication to community engagement. What makes NOS unique is its foundation in national service—partnering with the Great Basin Institute's National AmeriCorps Program to host service members who deliver outdoor education and community programming.
