About this program

Montesser is a 100% authentic Montessori community nestled in the green hills of Llanogrande, Rionegro in Colombia's Antioquia region. Following Maria Montessori's philosophy of "following the child," the school empowers students from ages 3 to 17 to reach their maximum potential as motivated, creative, critical thinkers who are kind to the cosmos and joyful in their place within it. The school is located on a beautiful property surrounded by green spaces with balance challenges, climbing opportunities, water and sand play areas, a garden, and a plant nursery. The prepared environment values each child's individuality while providing support and opportunities for emotional, social, and creative growth. By nurturing scientific and mathematical thinking, Montesser provides children and adolescents with tools for life and a broader vision of the world, helping them develop strengths, interests, and curiosity while forming close relationships with their community.
