About this program
Panyaden International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was founded in 2011 out of a deep love for learning and the desire to transform education. The school’s mission is to empower students to think critically, live ethically, and make positive contributions to the world. Guided by the 12 Wise Habits—fundamental habits developed by Buddhist teacher Phra Ajahn Jayasaro—students experience a holistic approach to their development, nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Panyaden blends world-class educational frameworks, including the British Curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, and the Thai National Curriculum. This unique philosophy is further enriched with sustainability practices and Buddhist principles, supporting students on a journey toward mindfulness, compassion, and environmental awareness.
