About this program
Project Rewild is a non-profit Community Interest Company founded in 2018 to make nature connection, learning, and play accessible to all. Based in Sussex, the organisation engages thousands of children, adults, families, and communities every year through nature-based programmes aimed at restoring human connections to the earth. Central to Project Rewild’s mission is the belief that we are not separate from nature, and that reconnection with the outdoors is essential for wellbeing. Activities at Project Rewild are rooted in the principles of rewilding, both for the land and for people. The team includes experienced mentors with backgrounds in forest school instruction, primitive skills, permaculture, mindfulness, and therapeutic guidance. Project Rewild offers a welcoming environment where families can get outside, foster stronger community bonds, and embrace holistic growth.
