About this program
Sun School Bali is a Waldorf-inspired kindergarten and primary school in Bali, founded by Jamie Bade with the mission to nurture creative, warm-hearted, resilient and courageous individuals. The school puts emotional intelligence at the forefront, embracing the wholeness of being human to create the changemakers of tomorrow. Located in Kaba-Kaba (having grown from the original Children of the Sun School in Ubud), the campus features wall-less classrooms designed to keep children intimately connected to nature. The school is built from materials of the Earth, integrating sustainability into every aspect of operations and curriculum. The educational philosophy is deeply rooted in Tri Hita Karana, Bali's philosophy of harmony between humans, nature, and the divine. The school integrates common cultural rituals and Indonesian language into daily life, fostering deep respect for the land and culture.
