About this program
Terra School at Serenbe is a nature-based, community-focused STEAM school located in Serenbe, an idyllic community surrounded by preserved forests and meadows in South Fulton County, Georgia. Situated just 45 minutes outside of Atlanta, the school opened its new state-of-the-art campus in August 2023, featuring 1,500 square-foot classrooms with attached outdoor learning spaces and garage doors that open directly to nature. The school's mission centers on igniting a lifelong love for learning through learner-centric, experiential, and culturally responsive education. Terra School emphasizes student independence, creativity, and real-world problem-solving, believing in each learner's potential to make a positive impact on the world. With over 24 miles of interconnected trails surrounding the campus, students learn not just in classrooms but also in creeks, pastures, and woods, creating an optimal environment that connects children to nature both indoors and outdoors.
