About this program
Wild Child Nature Project is a Forest and Nature School located in Carleton Place, Ottawa. This project invites children and families to connect with the outdoors, celebrating curiosity, community, and the natural world. Their learning environments include forests, meadows, and creeks, with children’s play, exploration, and wonder at the center of each day. Guided by caring educators, the program values repeated connection to the same outdoor spaces, helping children feel safe and confident. The approach is rooted in fostering a deep relationship with nature, and aims to raise tomorrow's stewards of the land through lived experience in all seasons.
