About this program

Wildflower Montessori School, established in Cambridge, Massachusetts on the traditional land of Pawtucket and Massachusett peoples, is the founding school of the Wildflower network of small, teacher-led, community-based Montessori schools. Now celebrating over 10 years of operation, the school serves children ages 2.9 through kindergarten year in an authentic Montessori environment. What makes Wildflower unique is its experienced teaching team holding both AMI and AMS Montessori certifications with over 40 years of combined experience, alongside distinctive emphases on music and mindfulness practices. The school partners with the City of Cambridge Office of Early Childhood and the Cambridge Preschool Program to make Montessori education financially accessible to all families. Wildflower is committed to liberation, equity, and creating a welcoming space where all feel a sense of belonging, while dismantling systems of oppression and honoring shared humanity.
