About this program
Inside Romania offers a month-long worldschool community experience in the heart of Transylvania's Carpathian Mountains. Based in a traditional mountain village near Zărnești, this family-inclusive program blends culture, nature, creativity, and connection in an authentic Romanian setting. The program is hosted by Victor and Noelle, a worldschooling family of five. Victor grew up exploring the Carpathian Mountains and brings deep knowledge of Romanian culture and photography. Noelle, originally from Florida, has a background in Educational Leadership and over a decade of international football coaching experience. Their three children—ages 11 to 15—have been worldschooling for years and actively participate in the community. Families discover hidden treasures within traditional village life: unpaved paths, rustic homes, shepherd-filled valleys, horse-drawn carts, and hand-stacked haystacks. The program also includes excursions to Bran Castle (linked to the Dracula legend) and the medieval city of Brașov with its Gothic architecture and cobblestone streets.
