About this program

Moxi is a mom-founded childcare concept that combines flexible drop-in care with coworking and wellness amenities for parents. Based in Birmingham, Alabama and voted "Best of Alabama Childcare Center 2025," Moxi was created by Cori Fain-Forrest after she experienced the frustration of years-long waitlists and inflexible childcare options as a new parent. The concept is built around understanding that modern families need childcare that adapts to their schedules, not the other way around. Parents can book care by the half-day or full-day with no minimum monthly commitment, scheduling ahead or reserving at the last minute. While children are engaged in thoughtfully designed play-based learning, parents have access to on-site coworking spaces, fitness facilities, and lactation rooms. Moxi centers are fully licensed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources, with all staff CPR-certified and background-checked. The facilities feature cameras in every classroom and follow CDC and state-recommended health guidelines. This combination of flexibility, quality, and parent amenities represents a new model for family-focused childcare.
