The Little Blue Crèche is a coworking space with on-site nursery school in Ventura, California. The name "crèche" comes from the English and French term for a nursery where babies and young children are cared for during the working day. The concept was born from the founder's personal experience returning to work four months after her daughter was born, with her retired mother (a former childcare director and professor) coming to help. She realized that every family deserves this kind of support—being able to work while staying connected to their children. The facility combines remote work capability with quality childcare, allowing parents to stop and breastfeed in the lounge, connect with other parents over coffee, and witness precious moments like their child's first steps. The approach embraces the "Blue Zone" philosophy, focusing on healthy, happy lives through movement, stress reduction, community, family priority, and nutrition.
