About this program
The Wild Ones Forest School operates rain-or-shine outdoor communities in the Golden/Evergreen area of Colorado, providing nature-based education for children ages 5-13. As a certified forest school program, they offer school year programming, holiday drop-in days, and outdoor summer camps, along with bushcraft workshops and adult-focused events. The school recently began hosting Level 3 Practitioner Training for those pursuing professional qualifications in forest school practice. Located at 57 S. Rainbow Trail in Evergreen, Colorado, The Wild Ones distinguishes itself through its strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity. The program proudly welcomes LGBTQ+, non-binary participants and allies, creating a safe space where children and families can be themselves. Their community enthusiastically embraces all ethnicities, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, family structures, sizes, and religious affiliations, fostering an environment built on respect and kindness.
