About this program
Worldmind Education is a Denver-based outdoor and place-based educational institution specializing in supporting neurodiverse and twice-exceptional learners. With 86% of students being neurodiverse and 83% identified as gifted, the school has developed deep expertise in working with children who have ADHD, autism, AuDHD, dyslexia, PDA, ODD, anxiety, and all levels of giftedness. The program centers on the belief that learning extends far beyond four walls, with classrooms in nature and the surrounding community. What makes Worldmind unique is its trauma-informed, strength-based approach that emphasizes social-emotional learning as the foundation for all academic work. The school specializes in compassionately addressing behaviors that traditional schools often overlook or punish, using carefully-built conflict resolution processes. Located in Denver, Colorado, the school operates multiple programs including a nature-based preschool in City Park and a K-12 school at 1515 Race Street, plus homeschool enrichment, summer camp, tutoring, and consulting services.
